Festival meadows, stone cellars, sold-out stadiums: the network fails exactly when the queue is longest. A serious ticket scanning app must therefore switch to offline mode automatically, validate tickets against a local database on the device and record every pass. When the connection returns, the records transfer to the server exactly once, with no duplication. Our app checks connectivity every 60 seconds by itself; door staff do not have to do anything.
