Mojekarte-Powered Online Stores Now Accept BON-21 Voucher Payments for Tickets

The Mojekarte platform is once again keeping pace with the times, offering a systematic and timely response to the current challenge known as Bon-21. Admittedly, the solution would be more elegant for Service Providers, as the law refers to them, if they had the option of automatic redemption of the Bon-21 payment instrument. However, for such a solution, FURS would need to provide an application programming interface (API) through which software robots could automatically check the available funds of buyers and redeem amounts for purchased tickets.
The challenge of paying for tickets with Bon-21
Redeeming the Bon-21 payment instrument raises a number of challenges, as the ticket purchase process involves four steps.
Collection of documents and recording of data at the Service Provider's ticket office.
The Service Provider's review in the FURS Bon-21 Redemption System, where the Service Provider verifies whether the buyer has sufficient funds in their account to purchase tickets.
Execution of the sales transaction for the purchased tickets at the Service Provider's ticket office.
Redemption of the amount for the sold tickets in the FURS Bon-21 Redemption System.
Unfortunately, this process cannot be automated, as the Service Provider's ticket office cannot be connected to the Bon-21 Redemption System. Consequently, the time required to complete a sales transaction at the Service Provider's ticket office is significantly extended when Bon-21 is used as a payment method. The resulting effects are queues, customer dissatisfaction, and staff stress. The alternative to selling tickets at a physical ticket office is, of course, online sales, which is why we developed a solution that enables Bon-21 payments for online ticket purchases. The added value of this solution lies not only in reducing the burden on physical ticket offices and redirecting ticket buyers to online stores, but also in the greater marketing impact of online stores. More online transactions mean more email addresses collected in the Service Provider's marketing database.
Every Service Provider's online store can be upgraded with this newly developed option, which allows ticket buyers to select Bon-21 payment during their online purchase, enter all legally required data, and attach the prescribed documents. The Service Provider sees the submitted order in their sales system as a reservation, which can be processed at the time that best suits their work dynamics and organization. This eliminates the stress and time pressure that is always present during face-to-face sales at the ticket window. For each received reservation, the Service Provider must verify the available funds in the FURS Bon-21 Redemption System and, if funds are available, complete the sales transaction in the Mojekarte Box Office module. After the transaction is completed at the Service Provider's ticket office, the ticket buyer automatically receives an electronic notification and print@home tickets.
Upgrading the Service Provider's online store ensures normal throughput at the local ticket office; eliminates the potential risk of long queues; maintains the standard quality of the user experience for ticket buyers; reduces stress at physical ticket offices and relieves sales staff, which has a positive impact on work quality; and ensures completeness and authenticity of documentation related to Bon-21 payments. There are clearly more than enough compelling reasons for systematically redirecting Bon-21 ticket purchases from local physical ticket offices to online stores.
