Pula Film Festival chose the Mojekarte platform

The public institution Pula Film Festival introduced the integrated Mojekarte platform for its ticket sales needs at Kino Valli as of 1 January 2016. The implementation project began two weeks earlier and encompassed: an analysis of the existing state, preparation and system administration of the database, platform parameterisation, connection to the Croatian fiscal receipt system, user education and training, and a test launch of the system and test use of the software. The result of the project was a functioning box office for ticket sales at Kino Valli, a customised online shop enabling seat reservations and direct ticket purchases, and a functioning back office that allows preparation of films for sale, preparation of additional data for film promotion online, and financial reports and statements, including reports and statements for distributors. End users adapted to the new equipment and new working methods very quickly.
Katja Restovic, Director: The business decision to replace software in such a sensitive area as ticket sales is a delicate matter. Especially because the specifics of the public institution Pula Film Festival need to be additionally taken into account, as it is in a somewhat different position compared to traditional cinema operators. In addition to managing Kino Valli, which runs a regular film programme, Pula Film Festival is also the annual organiser of the Pula Film Festival, an event with a tradition spanning several decades. All of this naturally needs to be considered, and that is also why we delayed the decision for several years. Well, we finally decided to keep pace with the times and open the door to changes and innovations. The presentation given by Mr Bistrički impressed us. It was very concrete and practical. At the same time, through it we recognised a completely new breadth of perspective on the issues on the one hand, and an enormous amount of professional knowledge and operational experience on the other. That was the tipping point, and together with my team of colleagues, we made the decision to implement the Mojekarte platform. After six months of the new system being in operation, all of us employees are enthusiastic, but most importantly for us, the cinema visitors are enthusiastic too. We have received a great deal of positive feedback from them.
Sergej Turcinov, cinema operator: The Mojekarte platform is of course something entirely different, and compared to what we had before, it is a real space shuttle for us. All the problems we faced for years while using our previous computer programme disappeared literally overnight with the introduction of the new platform, and things we could only dream about before have now become reality for us. The programme's user interface is comprehensible, intuitive, simple, and user-friendly, and students, who most frequently work at our ticket box offices, adapt to it in ten minutes. What impresses us most of all is the exceptional speed of fiscal receipt processing and ticket printing at the cinema box office. It was not like that before, and at every slightly better-attended screening, we faced queues of people waiting at the box office and visitor dissatisfaction and complaints. That is no longer the case. The elimination of queues is undoubtedly also helped by the significantly better online ticket sales solution. This offers buyers an incomparably better experience than before, and we have received quite a few compliments and positive comments from satisfied customers. We estimate that the number of online ticket purchases has increased significantly precisely because of the intuitiveness and simplicity of the solution. Compared to the period before the introduction of Mojekarte, direct online ticket sales jumped by several hundred percent, and interestingly, the ratio between completed and actually fulfilled reservations also improved, which we cannot yet explain to ourselves. The additional film promotion through the Mojekarte.hr portal is also clearly delivering results, as average attendance at screenings has increased over the past six months. We are truly satisfied -- both with the software itself and with the excellent support.
After 20 June, advance ticket sales for the 63rd Pula Film Festival will begin, and festival tickets will be available for the first time through the sales channels of the Mojekarte.hr distribution. Effective support for managing ticket sales at six festival box offices and the specially customised online shop for Pula Film Festival will be provided by the integrated Mojekarte platform.
The Mojekarte platform has also been chosen as the optimal solution for promotion and ticket sales needs by: the 56th International Children's Festival Sibenik (56. Medunarodni djecji festival Sibenik), the Summer Stage Opatija (Ljetna pozornica Opatija), the 16th Liburnia Jazz Festival, the 25th Kastav Cultural Summer (25. Kastafsko kulturno leto), Ljeto na Gradini Rijeka, Dancestar Porec 2016, and other festival event organisers.

The integrated Mojekarte platform can satisfy all the needs of festival organisers, regardless of duration, number of visitors, or number of venues. The support platform and accompanying services that organisers most frequently use for festival promotion and advance and regular sales of all types of festival tickets and other festival products also provide: accreditation management, article sales at the festival box office and online, a box office for catering sales, cashless payment with RFID wristbands is also supported, and more. With our professional solutions and services, we can meet the high expectations and even the most specific needs of any organiser. We also offer outsourcing, where we take over the entire organisation and execution of sales, which naturally includes all necessary equipment.
