KK Helios Domzale enters the 2016/17 European season with the Mojekarte platform

Basketball club Helios Suns Domzale is entering the 2016/17 European season with the DRAGON Venue platform and Mojekarte.si distribution.

The club was looking for a comprehensive solution. Season tickets were being sold without any software support, which was causing certain problems. Manual processes led to errors, and consequently the club was dealing with a lack of transparency and incomplete records in this segment of sales. Things were not well resolved at the club's box office either, as two separate programmes were being used for ticket sales. One served only for printing tickets but did not allow the issuing of fiscally certified receipts. A second programme was therefore used for issuing receipts, which significantly prolonged the transaction time and created queues at the box office and customer dissatisfaction. The integrated Mojekarte platform solves all of these problems, while its flexibility enables modern sales approaches that traditional distribution solutions do not offer.

Zoran Bistrički, consultant on the implementation project: The feeling when you walk into a club and start talking to people, and get the sense that you have been transported many years back in time, is unusual. Something similar happened during the first visit to Domzale. Manual sales of season tickets, the absence of quality data, the use of two unconnected programmes for ticket sales at the club box office, the inability to sell tickets under the club's own brand, a negligible share of tickets sold in advance, and other findings were a clear indication that nobody had been seriously dealing with sales and that everything had been more or less left to run itself. We therefore started building the new ticket sales system practically from scratch, first preparing everything necessary for the start of season ticket sales. Unlike the situation in the previous season, the club will now be more confident when it comes to ticket sales, as they can rely at any time on excellent support and useful advice from our professional team. We hope they will also benefit from our ideas and tips on how to sell more tickets, as we have enormous experience in this area. We wish and hope that through the sales innovations we will implement with the help of the club, the new sales system, and Mojekarte.si distribution, we will bring the club's product offering as close as possible to basketball fans and fill the arena in Domzale. We believe that together with the club's management, we will succeed during the 2016/17 season in taking some key steps to raise the sale of club products to a higher level and pave the way for introducing more significant changes and innovations in the 2017/18 season.
