Zagreb Puppet Theatre switches to the Mojekarte platform

The Zagreb Puppet Theatre (Zagrebacko kazaliste lutaka) has abandoned its old ticketing solution and chosen the multi-purpose and multi-channel Mojekarte digital platform for its marketing and ticket sales support. After the Kerempuh Satirical Theatre, Gavella Drama Theatre, Zagreb Youth Theatre, and the Ribnjak Youth Center -- all of which switched to the Mojekarte platform in 2017 and have remained on it for five theater seasons now -- this is the fifth Zagreb theater to decide on a system change.
With older ticketing solutions, it is becoming increasingly clear that they simply can no longer respond to the current challenges of the times or satisfy the changed needs and desires of audiences -- and consequently, the needs of marketing and sales in those theaters that wish to establish and nurture direct communication with their audiences in the online sales segment as well, rather than having this communication happen indirectly through ticket distributors.
It has also become evident that the Mojekarte platform, compared to competing solutions, is a significantly more advanced and capable digital work tool. With its help, new added value can be created, as has already been demonstrated by several Zagreb theaters that, precisely through Mojekarte, conceived and offered some non-standard theater products that were very well received by audiences.
The primary goal of deploying the Mojekarte platform at the Zagreb Puppet Theatre is to meet the internal needs of the sales function, which includes:
ticket sales at the theater's physical box office; increasing the number of sales channels, with the most important being the introduction of online ticket sales through a customized online store (webshop) at the subdomain zkl.mojekarte.hr; integration of online sales with the Google Analytics analytical tool; deployment of an automated electronic validation system for all ticket types and visitor access control; preparation of financial statements and reports for accounting purposes; and deployment of the Mojekarte Alpha Analytics analytical tool for statistical and structural sales data analysis.

For the experienced and well-practiced team at our Croatian subsidiary, Moje karte d.o.o. based in Rijeka, the implementation of the platform's core feature set is a routine project. This will be the eighth project in 2021, following POU Velika Gorica, the Visnjik Sports Center in Zadar, B Glad Produkcija, the Arsen Art House in Sibenik, the Zadar Concert Office, Motovun Film Festival, and the Ulysses Theatre. The entire implementation will be carried out remotely, without any physical presence of implementers at the theater's location. Remote deployment of complex software solutions -- something that was completely unimaginable just a few years ago -- has been developed by the Mojekarte team into a new internal standard. It entirely eliminates fieldwork costs, reduces the required time investment, increases flexibility, simplifies project logistics, and improves efficiency.
We believe that user adoption of the multi-purpose Mojekarte digital platform at the Zagreb Puppet Theatre will proceed similarly to other theaters, meaning that by the second half of the 2021/2022 cultural season, the conditions could already emerge for introducing some of the less commonly implemented products. For example, loyalty schemes, prepaid theater cards, or even a combination of both. Judging by the results of introducing such products in comparable settings, they would likely be well received by the Zagreb Puppet Theatre's target audience as well.
The multi-purpose and multi-channel Mojekarte platform increases its market share year after year in the specific and niche field of electronic ticketing on the Croatian market. It is currently present in sixteen Croatian cities, including all the largest ones except Osijek, and is widely adopted and well received among the most prestigious and internationally recognized cultural brands with a long tradition, including: the Ulysses Theatre, Pula Film Festival, Split Summer Festival, Motovun Film Festival, and the Days of Music at St. Donatus in Zadar.
The Mojekarte platform is gradually becoming the leading brand in the niche industry of software solutions and services for event management and electronic ticketing in a region of approximately 6,000,000 residents, with a realistic potential for further expansion.
