Let's look at a specific example -- a ticket for the Pula Film Festival (PFF), which has a QR code printed on it for free public transport. How did the solution work?

The Pula festival obtained unique QR codes for free bus rides from Pulapromet, the operator of the city's public transport. The codes had two restrictions: they were valid only on the day for which the ticket was purchased, and only within the time window of two hours before the start of the first screening and two hours after the end of the last screening.

The obtained codes were imported into the database, and with each ticket purchase, the software automatically pulled the required number of codes from the external code file for free transport and printed them on the tickets. Buyers had their tickets scanned and validated on the city bus scanners to use free transport.
