House of Art Arsen Sibenik Adopts the Mojekarte Platform

The House of Art Arsen in Sibenik, managed by the Fortress of Culture Sibenik public institution (TKS), has selected the multi-purpose and multi-channel Mojekarte digital platform as the most suitable solution for IT support of ticket sales, membership cards, and merchandise. The primary and, for now, sole objective of deploying the Mojekarte digital platform is to meet the internal needs of the sales function at the House of Art Arsen, which includes: selling tickets, membership cards, and merchandise at the physical ticket office of the House of Art Arsen, selling tickets at remote physical ticket offices, customized online sales of tickets, membership cards, and merchandise through the kucaarsen.mojekarte.hr online store, automatic electronic ticket verification and access control, and preparation of financial statements and reports for accounting purposes. For the experienced team of the Mojekarte Croatian subsidiary, implementing the basic set of platform user features, with the extension to Membership management, is a routine project that -- like other projects in recent months including POU Daruvar, the Korcula Center for Culture, POU Gospic, POU Velika Gorica, and Visnjik Sports Center Zadar -- will be carried out remotely without physical presence on site.
At first glance a routine project without any particular distinctions or superlatives, it conceals -- from a broader information technology perspective -- the potential for significant added value. Through the implementation of the Mojekarte platform at TKS, a modern and powerful information infrastructure is being shaped that is capable of connecting all the facilities managed by TKS into a unified sales system.
The unified sales system -- all with the aim of direct ticket sales and all other TKS products -- can subsequently be connected with stakeholders in culture and tourism, not only in Sibenik itself, but also in the wider area. In perspective, every hotel or campsite reception, every tourist information center, and even every private rental host could become a sales point for TKS's offerings. By rough estimates, the total number of such stakeholders in Sibenik and the surrounding area ranges between 350 and 400, which is of course an excellent potential.
Whether this added value will be recognized, evaluated, and utilized is up to the TKS management and perhaps also the city administration. Well, should that happen, we have all the necessary competencies to expand the operation of the Mojekarte platform from the House of Art Arsen to all facilities managed by TKS, while also offering a range of other professional solutions such as automatic access control with physical turnstiles, automatic visitor counting while ensuring complete anonymity, human resource management, loyalty scheme management, comprehensive retail operations, and many others. All solutions are integrated and function as a unified whole, which has a favorable impact on production costs, technical maintenance, user support, and other costs associated with using the information system.
Systems for information support in managing destination offerings, which can be seen in developed tourism environments, demonstrate that implementing such bold ideas opens up space and unexpected opportunities for designing, developing, and selling new composite products with high added value.
